Getting That Prized Posting Via Online Training
When I was leaving school I decided I’d like to go into the airforce. I used to take a teenage comic/magazine every week and they always had recruitment ads in them. They made it all look so glamorous and I decided to apply. My parents weren’t overly helpful but I made my way through the selection process once I had been guided by a very matronly senior officer about the various benefits of using my existing typing skills and adding to them by joining the medical secretarial corps. This was such a brilliant route to go. The training was of course very thorough. The military life was thrilling at times – we were very well looked after and it was as good a career as the shiny adverts suggested! It’s even easier to be placed these days – every posting has to be trained for via online recruitment and the home study courses do bring certainty for acceptance.
