Later Careers Gain Most From On-Line Resources
One of the joys of going back to work after a short break for say, child care or other caring responsibilities, is the chance to really settle into a long term career for quite a few years that remain. When we first leave school and go through uni or other higher education, there is this deperate need to get placed in ‘the career’. Sometimes students are pushed towards something that really isn’t sutable for them but they can’t always recognise this. Or their parents can’t. But when we have a second bite at the career cherry, we have the opportunity to learn more – in fact career focused training courses and e-learning are very often the most enjoyable. I recall several when I worked as a case officer within a government ministry for many years. The mandatory anti fraud and anti money laundering training courses were absolutely fascinating and taught me a great deal about how to recognise a likely scammer years before they became the blight they are now! However, for the purposes of gaining steps on a later career ladder, researching all the various educational online learning suppliers will soon suggest the best route to that haven of happiness!
